REFO Photo Contest concluded

The results of the 1989 REFO 3rd Photography Contest organized with the aim of spreading and developing the art of photography throughout the country have been announced. This year's photo contest on "Streets, Houses and Their Lives" was held in the color printing and black and white printing sections. 174 people from various cities of the country participated in the contest with a total of 623 photographs. 441 of the photographs were in color printing and 182 in black and white printing. As a result of the evaluation of the selection committee consisting of Isa Celik, Sakir Eczacibasi, Cengiz Karliova, lzzet Keribar and A. Halim Kulaksiz, 49 color prints and 8 black and white prints, 57 photographs in total were selected to be exhibited. The first prize in the color printing section was given to Aydin Cetinbostanoglu from Izmir.
