About Murat Menteş
Murat Menteş (born 1974 in Istanbul) is a Turkish novelist, poet and essayist who has also worked in magazines, newspapers and publishing. His first novel, Dublörün Dilemması, appeared in 2005, and his novel Korkma Ben Varım received the Turkish Writers’ Union’s Novel of the Year award. His writing is known for bringing together fast-moving fiction, wordplay, humour and unconventional narrative structures.
