About Mehmet Güleryüz
Mehmet Güleryüz (1938–2024) was a Turkish painter, sculptor, performer and actor. He graduated from the Painting Department of the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1966, while also pursuing acting, and later continued his artistic training in Paris. Over a career spanning more than six decades, he worked across painting, drawing, sculpture, performance and theatre, and also taught art in Istanbul.
