Narcissus and Hyacinth - Karaburun, Izmir  2009, 2013,2017

Narcissus and hyacinth that come into flower in between cold December and March days are harvested and marketed all over Turkey from Karaburun. It is a source of income and occupation in Karaburun and its surrounding villages for many people. In 2009, 2013, and 2017 I was a guest to many families to take the photographs of this event and shared their lives both in their houses and the field of narcissus
