Anatolia with its Living Cultures
Located between Europe and Asia at the crossroads of Eastern and Western civilizations, Anatolia is considered a cradle of civilization for humanity. This versatile culture contains many stories to be told in terms of folkloric photography. Some of them will be included in my exhibition proposal. The portfolio consists of four different religions and 12 different subcultures that have adopted these religions. Religions include Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Alevi religions. The 48 photographs in the portfolio are to give an idea of the scope of the exhibition. Some more can be added during the exhibition.
