Don't Let the Colors Die, Don't Let the Cultures Be Lost

This article was published in the magazine of the Aegean Industrialists and Businessmen Association (ESİAD). In it, I shared my observations and thoughts about the Syriac community, accompanied by photographs from my long-term Syriacs project.

The work grew from my interest in the cultural diversity of Anatolia and in communities whose traditions, beliefs and ways of life form an important part of its historical memory. The Syriacs are among the oldest peoples of Anatolia, and through this photographic project I wanted to record traces of a culture that has endured for centuries.
