Neşe ve Hüznün Romanı / A Novel of Joy and Sorrow

This cultural article brings together my thoughts on İzmir’s Roma community with photographs from my Roma documentary project. It also includes an interview conducted by the magazine’s reporter in Ege Mahallesi, one of İzmir’s long-established Roma neighborhoods.

The publication combines my photographs, observations and personal perspective with the voices of people living in the neighborhood, presenting a portrait of Roma life through both joy and hardship.
