Saturday Mothers Istanbul, 2010 - 2014

A group of mom are waiting their lost relatives for 25 years, who were lost during torture or prisons by the military junta at past. Every Saturday at 12 o'clock they meet in the same place and tell their stories to the people in the street by sitting down. They are waiting any news from their relatives with red carnations in their hands. Some of them have passed away in the period that has passed until today. There was a Mother Berfo in her 90s among them. Once she has explained that once she was searching for the bones of her son with the bag in hand. Many stories have been told. Despite the obstacles, the mothers' meetings are still going on.
